The West Virginia Department of Economic Development notes that high-value alloys and precision manufacturing are helping support industries such as aerospace and automotive while creating new job opportunities across the Mountain State.

2 – From WVVA – WV SBDC partners with Verizon for new training platform
The West Virginia Small Business Development Center has partnered with Verizon to launch the Verizon Small Business Digital Ready program. This free platform offers training for entrepreneurs on topics such as financial management, digital marketing, workplace culture, legal protection, and business strategy—giving West Virginia small business owners tools to grow and compete in the modern economy.
3 – From WVDNR – WV Gold Rush returns to West Virginia waters this spring
The annual West Virginia Gold Rush returns March 30 through April 11. During the event, the West Virginia Division of Natural Resources will stock more than 50,000 golden rainbow trout in lakes and streams across the state. Anglers of all experience levels can enjoy the event—and those lucky enough to catch a specially tagged trout could win prizes.
