Amazon has officially opened its first two operations facilities in West Virginia, located in Beaver and Davisville.

The new facilities have created more than 500 direct and indirect jobs, supporting delivery, logistics and local business partnerships.

Leaders say the investment will improve delivery times while strengthening economic opportunity and infrastructure across the region.

#2 – From WOWK-TV Wildlife manager honored for conservation work

A specialist with the West Virginia Division of Natural Resources has been named 2026 Wildlife Manager of the Year.

Heath Miles was recognized for his work improving wildlife habitats, supporting research and mentoring new hunters across the state.

His efforts include managing thousands of acres and restoring land to support species like wild turkey and other native wildlife throughout West Virginia.
