1 – From WV HUB – The Hub highlights impact supporting West Virginia communities
The West Virginia Community Development Hub continues its work supporting communities across the Mountain State by helping local leaders turn ideas into real projects and partnerships. In recent efforts, the organization supported 28 communities, helped generate more than $405,000 in program funding, and assisted communities in leveraging an additional $676,000 from outside sources to advance local development projects. Leaders say the Hub’s mission is grounded in empowering communities to shape their own futures.

2 – From EXPANSION SOLUTIONS – West Virginia’s economy gains momentum through innovation
West Virginia is increasingly recognized as a state on the rise as industries expand in advanced manufacturing, aerospace, polymers, specialty chemicals, and metals. Business analysts say the Mountain State’s location — within a day’s drive of more than half of the U.S. population — combined with workforce training programs and strong logistics infrastructure is helping attract new investment and modern manufacturing operations. These strengths are helping position West Virginia as a competitive environment for industrial growth and innovation.

3 – From WBOY-TV – Hope Gas opens new workforce training facility
Hope Gas has opened a new training facility in Harrison County designed to prepare workers for careers in the natural gas industry. The center includes a simulated neighborhood training environment known as Safety City, where workers and students can learn skills needed to safely install and maintain natural gas infrastructure. The facility will support training for current employees, vocational students, and individuals seeking careers in the energy sector.
