1 – From DATA CENTER DYNAMICS – Penzance targets 600MW data center campus in West Virginia
Penzance Management is investing $4 billion in a new data center campus in West Virginia. Patrick Morrisey announced the project, which will be located on 548 acres in the Falling Waters District of Berkeley County.
The Bedington Campus will total nearly 1.9 million square feet and deliver up to 600 megawatts of critical IT capacity when fully built. The investment represents one of the largest data infrastructure projects in the region and further strengthens West Virginia’s growing technology and energy sectors.

2 – From TOYOTA WV – Toyota West Virginia’s Solar Flowers Take the Spotlight on CNN
Innovative solar technology at Toyota Motor Manufacturing West Virginia is gaining national attention after appearing in a feature from CNN.
The facility’s Smartflower Solar installations, often called “solar flowers,” are designed to mimic sunflowers by tracking the sun throughout the day for maximum energy production. Compared with conventional solar panels, the flowers require less space and create a visually striking display of renewable energy innovation.

3 – From WV PUBLIC BROADCASTING – Hope Gas announces $250M pipeline expansion
Hope Gas is investing $250 million to expand its natural gas infrastructure at its facility in Morgantown.
The pipeline project will improve energy reliability and expand service capacity for residential, commercial and industrial customers, including manufacturing facilities in Mason County. Construction on the 24-inch pipeline is expected to begin in April.
