3 – From WV NEWS – SpaceTrek inspires tomorrow’s engineers
The next generation of engineers is getting an early start in West Virginia.
High school students from across the state recently gathered at West Virginia Wesleyan College for SpaceTrek, a hands-on program designed to encourage young women to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering and mathematics. Through interactive projects, teamwork and mentorship from professionals, participants explored engineering concepts while building confidence in future STEM careers.
