3 – From WV EXPLORER – Teachers discover the New River Gorge
West Virginia educators are being invited to see the New River Gorge from a whole new perspective.
ACE Adventure Resort has launched a Teachers Raft Free program, giving eligible West Virginia teachers a complimentary rafting trip when accompanied by a paying adult. Organizers hope the experience will inspire educators to use the New River Gorge as an outdoor classroom, connecting students with lessons in geology, ecology, history, and teamwork.
