#3 – From WV STATE PARKS – State park waterfalls even better in winter

As snow and ice set in, West Virginia State Parks have released their top waterfall trails that shine in the off-season. Cascades like Blackwater Falls, Elakala and Twin Falls take on extra visual drama when framed by frost, sheets of ice and quieter crowds—offering late-fall and winter visitors a fresh perspective on Almost Heaven.
