#1 – From WVU PARKERSBURG – WVU Parkersburg and Constellium partner to offer Manufacturing Production Operator Program

West Virginia University at Parkersburg and Constellium have teamed up to launch a new Manufacturing Production Operator Program to equip students with the skills and credentials needed for advanced manufacturing jobs, including hands-on training and pathways to employment with local industry partners.

#2 – From WV DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE – West Virginia Commerce Model Registry opens for volunteers

The West Virginia Department of Commerce’s Model Registry is now accepting volunteers who want to be featured in future state tourism, parks, film, and commercial media campaigns, offering residents a chance to represent the character and culture of the Mountain State.

In “Just Three Questions!” Season 2 Episode 1, West Virginia Secretary of State Kris Warner sits down with West Virginia University President Michael T. Benson in Morgantown. They discuss WVU’s Welcome Home Tour, the university’s quest to join the Association of American Universities, and what it means to be a finalist for the National Science Foundation’s Regional Innovation Engines Award.
