The WV DNR hosted cadets from Mountaineer Challenge Academy recently for a stream restoration project at Pipestem Resort State Park. WVDNR’s partnership with the academy began in 2009 with hunter education classes and has since grown into a collaboration that spans across the agency’s law enforcement, wildlife resources, and state parks sections. The program is designed to foster the next generation of West Virginia’s environmental champions.
