Nucor Steel is getting ready to hire additional entry-level workers at its Apple Grove plant in Mason County. The company has already employed around 350 people while construction continues, and new positions will soon be available across a variety of roles as operations ramp up.
#2 – From WVDNR – WVDNR Offers Elk Tours in Logan County
The West Virginia Elk Restoration Project, launched in 2016, continues to see success. Wildlife officials have recorded more than 60 native calf births, helping stabilize and expand the state’s elk herd. This fall, visitors have the opportunity to see these incredible animals up close in their natural habitat. #3 – From WV Division of Corrections & Rehabilitation – Careers in Corrections
The West Virginia Division of Corrections & Rehabilitation (DCR) is actively recruiting for a wide range of positions, including Correctional Officers, Counselors, Case Managers, Parole Officers, and IT and maintenance staff.
