OAK HILL, WV — ACE Adventure Resort will host three major music festivals this summer, bringing together nationally touring artists, regional talent, and outdoor adventure in the New River Gorge National Park.
The series includes Mountain Music Festival (June 4–6), Boots in the Gorge (July 31–Aug. 1), and Domefest (Aug. 6–8)—each offering a distinct music experience on the resort’s 1,500-acre mountaintop venue.
Mountain Music Festival kicks off the season June 4–6 with a multi-genre lineup spanning funk, jam, rock, and electronic music. The three-day event features multiple stages, live art installations, workshops, and late-night performances, along with mountaintop camping and access to resort amenities.
Boots in the Gorge, set for July 31–Aug. 1, marks ACE’s newest addition. The two-day country music festival will showcase a mix of national headliners, Nashville artists, and Appalachian performers. Headliners include Clint Black, Josh Turner and Confederate Railroad. Organizers are positioning the event as a blend of live country music and outdoor recreation, with rafting, ziplining, and other activities available throughout the weekend.
Domefest returns Aug. 6–8, headlined by Pigeons Playing Ping Pong for three nights. The long-running festival is known for its community-driven atmosphere and jam-focused lineup, alongside late-night shows, collaborative sets, and interactive art experiences.
All three festivals take place at ACE Adventure Resort, located adjacent to the New River Gorge National Park and Preserve. In addition to live music, attendees can take part in whitewater rafting, hiking, mountain biking, and the resort’s lake and waterpark.
Organizers say the goal is to offer more than a traditional concert experience.
“Each festival has its own identity, but they all share the same setting and sense of adventure,” said organizers. “It’s not just about the music—it’s about spending a full weekend in the New River Gorge.”
Camping is included with most festival passes, with cabin rentals and upgraded lodging also available on-site.
