| WHAT: | Mountwest’s Maritime Academy and Point Pleasant River Museum are joining forces to offer Apprentice Mate and Radar Western River classes. Classes will be held at the Point Pleasant River Museum. |

| WHY: | This partnership enhances maritime education and workforce training in Mason County, preparing students for rewarding careers while supporting the maritime industry. The ribbon cutting ceremony will begin with remarks from Mountwest Maritime Director, Sherri Sowards, employer partners and other members of leadership. |
