#2 – From Business Facilities – WV Moves “50 by 50” Energy Plan Into Motion
West Virginia’s “50 by 50” plan aims to increase the state’s electrical generation capacity to 50 gigawatts by 2050—up from the roughly 15 GW currently produced. The policy includes generation, transmission, energy security, and long-term strategic development across coal, gas, nuclear, renewables, and microgrids.
