2 – From BHE RENEWABLES & WVU STEAM TAC – ‘Bright Ideas’ brings solar energy to life for middle school students
Students at Ripley and Ravenswood Middle Schools are stepping into the world of clean energy through the new “Bright Ideas” solar and battery-storage immersion classroom. Created by BHE Renewables and WVU’s STEAM Technical Assistance Center, the program teaches how solar panels collect and store energy while introducing students to the many careers behind a working microgrid.
