#1 – From WOAY-TV – Marshall University Manufacturing Center launches early-stage funding support
Marshall University’s Manufacturing Center is expanding its support for entrepreneurs by offering early-stage funding to help West Virginia startups and innovators grow. The program focuses on bridging the gap between concept and commercialization, pairing funding opportunities with mentorship and technical support. The initiative aims to strengthen homegrown businesses, retain talent, and turn innovative ideas into market-ready products across the Mountain State.

#2 – From NEW AMERICA – Small college brings apprenticeships to rural West Virginia
A rural West Virginia college is being recognized for bringing apprenticeship programs directly to students and local employers. Eastern West Virginia Community and Technical College in Moorefield is combining classroom learning with hands-on training, helping students earn credentials while meeting real workforce needs in their communities.

#3 – From WV SECRETARY OF STATE – West Virginia Hive supports entrepreneurs across southern WV
Secretary of State Kris Warner sits down with Judy Moore of the West Virginia Hive to discuss entrepreneurship and small business support in southern West Virginia. Since its founding, the Hive has supported nearly 700 entrepreneurs and small businesses — plus more than 1,200 aspiring entrepreneurs and community members.
