The West Virginia-produced screwball comedy “Ambrosia!” has been nominated for Best Picture at the Rehoboth Beach International Film Festival. Filmed in Beckley, the production represents the Mountain State’s growing strength in creative industries and film-making.

#2 – From WEST VIRGINIA STATE PARKS – These favorite November WV hikes will soon become yours

With crisp fall air setting in, the West Virginia State Parks system highlights several favorite hikes for November – from lakeside strolls to steeper trails – reminding residents and visitors that late-season outdoor adventure is still ripe in Almost Heaven.

#3 – From WV PRESS – Vandalia breaks ground on $25M Neuroscience Institute in Downtown Charleston

The Vandalia Health Neuroscience Institute has officially broken ground in downtown Charleston. The three-story, 30,000-square-foot facility (costing about $25 million) will bring neurology, neurosurgery, diagnostics and infusion services under one roof and is expected to open in late 2027.
