#2 – From WV GAZETTE-MAIL – WV food scene showcases global flavors

West Virginia’s food culture continues evolving as restaurants, festivals, and local chefs introduce international flavors across the state.

A new regional effort is helping provide financial support and resources for small businesses throughout Appalachia.

“Powering Appalachia – Funding for Rural Small Businesses” takes place Wednesday, June 3, at the Mid-Ohio Valley Regional Council in Parkersburg. The event is free and open to community members, business owners, and aspiring entrepreneurs.
